Two Great-Grandsons are Christened by Queen Elizabeth

LONDON (AP) — Queen Elizabeth IIOn Sunday, she attended two christenings for her great-grandchildren.

The 95-year-old British monarch, who has canceled several recent public appearances on her doctors’ advice, watched the baptisms of August, son of Princess EugenieJack Brooksbank with her wife, Zoe Tindall. Lucas Philip is the son of Zara Tindall (and her husband Mike Tindall).

A private service was held at Windsor Great Park’s Royal Lodge, west London. It was attended by close friends and members of royal families.

August was born February, and Lucas March. Both boys’ mothers are granddaughters of the queen.

Twelve great-grandchildren are part of the Queen’s household, with the youngest being 2-month-old Sienna Elizabeth. She is Princess Beatrice’s daughter.

Concerns about the monarch’s health were raised last month, when she spent a night in a London hospitalAfter being admitted to medical testing. Palace officials claimed that the doctors told the monarch to be restrained for two weeks so that he could only perform light tasks.
